I also cant find any sai 2 tutorials on the matter. Ive attempted to install the missing textures. Such as form settings, and lots of textures. Now, I like to look up pen settings others use to try them out myself, but when doing so ive noticed im missing a lot of features. Open your sai, right click a blank panel and the scatter brush should be under the basic tool types just under the selection type brushes! Then play around with the settings, you can change the spread, angle, size variation and more with it! Similar to photoshop scatter brushes. So, ive been using Sai 2 for quite a while now(Licence version, yes I paid for it), but decided to get the latest update and see whats new. Rename it to whatever you named your custom shape as. ini file of the waterbrush shape in there. Save it as a bitmap in the scatter folder, then you're going to duplicate the. Then once you have the shape you want (I guess copy/tracing the star from your image (if you're having trouble with that I can try and help you get a shape). If you go into your scatter folder (\SYSTEMAX Software Development\SAIv2\settings\scatter) You should already have a water blur default file that you can use as reference! You're gonna make an image with a black background and the shape you want in white. You have to make a scatter brush in sai 2! These settings are a bit outdated, but it's REALLY easy to make scatter brushes! Note your sai 2 has to be updated! (Check the date of the files on the site and the one with your paint tool sai and compare them to see if you have the latest version)Īll you have to do is open a program like photoshop, gimp etc.
